General Dentistry Gold Coast QLD

Improve the health of your smile

Come in for a general check-up and receive a personalised treatment plan

How long has it been since your last check up?

At Advanced Dental Care Clinic we have an experienced team that provides high quality general dentistry services. We recommend coming in for a check up every 6 months in order for us to have the best chance at catching any problems early on. Even with a regular at-home maintenance routine there will always be some risk of developing decay, and there is nothing like that professional clean feeling. Check ups play an important role in preventing further damage and maintain the overall health of your smile.

Though this is the recommendation, we understand that some patients can be anxious or embarrassed about coming in for a check up, especially if it has been a while. At Advanced Dental Care Clinic you will always be treated with respect and understanding, no matter how long it has been since your last visit or the condition of your teeth. We offer general dentistry and sedation dentistry as an option for extremely anxious patients and provide a calm and happy environment to help relax our patients.

I have a tooth ache, what should I do?

Unsurprisingly, tooth pain is generally an indicator of some damage. Whether this is a cavity, gum disease or even wisdom tooth pain it is always advised to come in to the practice to see what’s going on. Catching problems early will generally give us the best chance to treat the problem before any extensive restorative treatments are needed.

Dr Parrag and the team at Advanced Dental Care Clinic are committed to treating each of their patients efficiently and compassionately, so at the first sign of tooth pain call the practice and one of our team members will happily book you in for an appointment.

What happens if I have decay?

During your appointment, Dr Parrag will take a series of x-rays and also our state-of-the-art Diagnodent Dental Laser to assess whether you have any decay. Depending on the severity, you will be presented with some options for treatment including, fillings, crowns and bridges.  You may need to make another appointment to receive this additional treatment.

In all cases of damage or decay, Dr Parrag will talk you through your options extensively so you have a thorough understanding of the benefits and disadvantages of each treatment option. Dr Parrag will give her professional recommendation however, ultimately you will always have the final say on your treatment plan.
